Pastel heaven, again from the talent of the Dutch...

I can't help myself, but I just keep finding myself back to the Netherlands for inspirational design that makes me tick. Meet the sensual work of  Wendy Legro & Maarten Collignon, the designers behind Studio WM, a design partnership based in Rotterdam.

Their design motto is 'Lightness in Lines' and, boy, do they deliver! From chairs, to lights and even a cute water-bottle (yes water bottle!) their designs have a very distinctive softness and character of, well as they themselves rightly point out, an amazing control of line and curve. Moreover though, and what I absolutely lose myself in, are the pastel colours. The furniture is almost lost on the white background, however still holds its own with a perfectly put together palette of complimentary and contrasting colours. I personally love the cute, yellow canary chair set off with the peach pendant lights... Devine!

LOL, I agree, but the toes were the most effective way to show that this design was actually a water bottle :) It's ok, I put the pic as the last one :) Good night...
