Ok, so I know the other day I said that I was going to embark on a deserted warehouse loft conversion, but I've changed my mind, yes, yes I have. I'm going to put my piggy-bank coins aside and save for a swanky little place in Manhattan, yes you read right, Manhattan, and embark on a complete reinvention of the interior! Motivated by the below much? Maybe, just maybe...
WOW! Look at that view, those windows, the light streaming in, and the buzz of one of the world's most amazing & vibrant melting-pot cities only one breath away from drowning your inner aesthetic hunger. Maybe it's my recent, unforgettable trip to NYC that has carved out a soft spot for NY pads in an obsessed little corner of my heart, or maybe it's just this apartment that wins viewers over with its charm.
Situated in Manhattan's Gramercy Park this delicious lolly of a gem, of a spark, of a cookie, has been completely redone and spruced up from, what was, an old townhouse construction. The dream was brought to life by the talented team at Fractal Construction, an architectural firm based in NYC's East Village.
I invite you to lose yourselves in the magic of this project. If you look closely you might just come upon lighting design by Ingo Maurer, art by sculptor Emilio Garcia, and signature pieces by the extraordinary Mies van der Rohe.
