Oooh-laa-laa... The heavenly simple, Sacos De Papel

Well, well. I think I know what I want for my next b'day present. Just to inject a little style, sass and primordial girly needs into our week, THIS IS A MUST HAVE!! I have veered a little away from the interiors that I normally like to post, but hey, design inspiration can, and should, come in any shape, form and texture. And speaking of texture, these little bags are so very sexy. Designed by ADAISM, some of the below beauties are already available and others are to come in the near future. My absolute lust for these pieces comes from their sheer minimalism that embodies timeless beauty. The form alone lends itself to the simplicity of a paper bag that folds over ever so simply, but yet, at the same time, it oozes sheer sexiness through the choice of material that the bags are adorned in. The detailing of the product is so exquisite that I haven't simply just decided on one for my next b'day, I'd like one in every colour, every texture, every size...

A 'funkis' B'day

I have been lucky enough to have had my b'day in the fabulous Sydney party season, and luckier still to  have received an amazingly cool b'day present from my very funky and fashionable sister, who knows me oh-so-well!!! Funkis clogs, YES, funkis clogs. Just the coolest and sassiest brand to roll off one's tongue.

I have very giddily and happily shown off my deliciously red pair in the first shot below. These charming and very cool clogs are designed in Australia and handmade in Sweden using only natural material... and each pair is unique!! I cannot wait to wear them out and show them off tomorrow. And if bringing clogs back in fashion with a bang was not enough, this very sassy company has other gems, such as bags, glasses, prints and vases, to name but a few... Funkis is my new favourite brand!!

Fresh and fearless fashion fun!

It's funny how sometimes we meet people we least expect to cross our paths. It's in this uncanny, quite unplanned way that I very recently met the very creative stylist/artist Camille Herry. Quickly falling into a conversation about design and art, a subject clearly close to both our hearts, she tells me a little bit about a project that she is undertaking with a group of friends, a group, I'm soon to find out, made up of very talented young artists, photographers and designers. 

Their project is called Isormagazine, an online magazine depicting different fashion and photography studies, each based on quite clear and researched concepts... and the work is simply mind-blowing, a concoction of daring and exciting concepts that leave you wanting more. If this young team have such guts and imaginations now, how exciting to think what they can achieve further down the track as they grow and sharpen their artistic pallets. 

Based in Paris and made up of a team of seven the Isormagazine talent pool is absolutely fearless. I'm taken by their work because there are no reigns holding them back in their exploration of themes such as femininity, sexual expression, tenderness, perspective, colour and sheer crazy, yet controlled, fun. Isormagazine is surely a website to keep checking back at.
